A clear place to begin
New to grammar? Start with nouns and verbs. For plurals, learn what a noun is first. For irregular past tense, start with verbs and tenses and time. Every lesson is open whenever you need it.
For the grown-up
Designed as short, explicit practice for an eight-year-old, using Australian spelling. Choose by readiness rather than a year label. These nine lessons begin the library; they are not a full English curriculum.
Each lesson explains the idea, gives guided practice and asks for original sentences. Read aloud includes instructions and examples. Use paper, talk together or type in the lesson; typed writing stays only in the open page and is not automatically marked.
Future additions can build into sentence structure, punctuation, spelling, reading comprehension and longer writing.
